Cabin sits on 25 acres - a mile up on an old twisting and turning dirt and gravel road with flat rolling fields at the top, there is a small pond with all kinds of wild life Bear, Deer, Turkey, Moose, and so to miles and miles of atv trails This cabin joins 60 more acres that's part mine and its the only cabin/house up on this mountain, So if you want to do some 4 wheeling with roads that lead to hundreds of miles of trails or just come have a get away for privacy this is the place to go. You do have to have a 4 wheel drive to access the cabin

Willowbrook is the name given to the property by the previous owner. Maurice Musick was a Professor, an Artist and a good friend. The original house is log and was built around the 1900's. The area is known as Alum Wells. According to Maurice, the Alum Wells Post Office was located in this house. The newer part was added in 1995. The upstairs roof has skylights to allow for the best light while Maurice painted. The house has 4 spacious bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. There are two complete kitchens, a den, two great rooms with decks. We offer an amazing view of farm land and an reflective pond. Many great twisty routes for motorcycle riding such as The Tail of the Dragon, The Snake and within an hour or two drive even more to choose from. The Creeper Trail, Mendota Trail and the Channels are hiking/biking options as well. Tweetsie Railroad is about 1.5 hours away. A great amusement park for smaller children. We are 2 1/2 hours from Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and 45 minutes from the Bristol Motor Speedway. This house is also located about 5 miles to the Creeper Trail. You can either go to Alvarado and park your bike and ride the trail or hike, or go to Abingdon or Damascus to ride the trail. If you want to take a shuttle up to the top of the trail, you will need to go to Damascus to use the shuttle. You can either rent bikes in Damascus or bring your own bikes. The actual physical address is 17354 Limestone Dr. Meadowview, Va. but I am closer to Abingdon or Damascus than Meadowview. To get to the property, you will leave Abingdon on Hwy. 58 toward Damascus and travel 5 miles and turn left onto Blue Springs Rd. or Rd. 722.
